Berg Lake is located in Mt Robson Provincial Park, which is the second oldest park in the BC Park system. Located on the border of British Columbia and Alberta, with Jasper National Park lying on it’s eastern flank, it is an excellent location to stop and explore the wilderness which surrounds Mt. Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.
The world famous Berg Lake Trail is a 23km hike through various biogeoclimatic zones. Pass the Valley of a Thousand Falls to reach a array of campsites on the lake. This hike has some of the most spectacular scenery in the province of BC. Seven BC parks campgrounds are available along the hike out. The closest to our landing area is Robson Pass.
